EPDM is a single-ply, flexible synthetic rubber membrane known for its exceptional weather resistance, UV protection, and long service life—making it a reliable choice for commercial and industrial buildings.
EPDM roofing can be adhered directly to the roof decking or installed along with insulation and additional protective layers, depending on the building’s design and performance needs. It can be applied in several configurations, including fully adhered, mechanically attached, or ballasted systems.
While EPDM offers excellent flexibility and resistance to the elements, it is less impact-resistant than built-up roofing systems, making it best suited for low-traffic rooftop areas. To protect high-traffic zones and extend the lifespan of the membrane, we strongly recommend the installation of walkway pads.
